We are refugees

We are refugees
We have no place to call home
We search for a safe haven
We are nomads

We are refugees
We seek jobs to earn money
We want food for us and our families
We want our children to be happy

We are refugees
Our home was bombed last night
Today we are homeless again
This is the 5th time we are left like this

We are refugees
Give us a part of your motherland
Our country is dying
We don’t want to do the same

We are refugees
We are never safe
One moment we are laughing and watching tv
The other we watch as our families bleed themselves to death

We are refugees
Help us and be humane
Give us a job and give us a home
We don’t want to be wiped off the human civilization.
