“Peace of mind,” they said,
Is what keeps you hale and hearty,
Peace of mind is what keeps you sane,
I wondered if this held any truth,
But I begged to differ,
Cause peace of mind wasn’t what comforted me.
The storm that raged in my mind,
The splash of color,
Which broke the monotony,
The rage which consumed me,
Is what never failed to soothe me.
The smooth journey,
Or the perfect day,
Wasn’t what I was looking for
And it never kept my boredom at bay,
What did make me feel alive,
Was the imperfect journey
Upon the rocky path.
The uncertainty that’s keeps me awake,
The confusion that surrounds me,
Wrapped me in its cocoon,
And I felt joyous,
Unconquerable to say the least.
Some say that I’m insane,
And who’s to deny that,
I am insane,
But that’s what makes me feel alive,
Alive as a hotwire,
That threatens to harm you,
Alive as the fire,
Which may destroy you.
Nice poem 🙂

Thank you Ananya, from Purvi’s side. I don’t know why she isn’t replying (you know how crazy she is)
I’m sure she will be very happy to see this comment 🙂
